| Job Description |
Large apparel Screen Printing and Embroidery Company is in search of Creative Art Director with strong leadership skills coupled with strong communication skills. Must be able to meet with clients and make presentations when required.
You will also be responsible for the following within the Art Department:
*Direct and manage all personnel, activities, processes, priorities and productivity
*Instrumental in hiring/corrective action when required/needed
*Interface with sales reps and customers as needed
*Produce creative art for sales on a consistent basis
*Assist in design of sales and marketing material
*Manage and maintain art data-base
*Aid in proofing samples and color selection
*Assist with quality control
*Research and development of new decoration techniques
*Creative line development, project management
*Meet department deadlines, daily, weekly, monthly, annually
*Ensure billable hour adhesion and overall departmental profitability
*Mentor less experienced designers within department
*Embroidery Digitizing experience major PLUS!
