| Job Description |
Primary responsibilities will include ownership of all aspects of the Prototype process from initial concept generation, to pattern creation through prototype development and post product review / revision.
Responsibilities
Manage entire prototype development process from idea to physical sample creation
Provide technical feedback regarding sewing techniques and product specifications.
Provide design consultation to prospective OEM & prototype development customers.
Maintain keen sense of quality during every aspect of the production process.
Strategically plan to expand product offerings and support OEM relationships with corporate and government clients

| Qualifications |
Candidate Requirements and Characteristics
Minimum of 5 years previous cut-and-sew design/development experience.
Extensive knowledge of fabrics, threads, sewing equipment and sewing accessories.
Extensive knowledge of sewing techniques.
Past experience working with Lectra integrated technology solutions, or similar engineering platform.
Past experience working with Diamino marker making software a PLUS.
Past experience working with Modaris pattern development software a PLUS.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to take product ideas from concept through prototype development
Ability to troubleshoot and communicate design issues with management.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-pace manufacturing environment.
Excellent organization skills.
Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
